Brain Health: The Basics Train the Trainer offers a PowerPoint presentation for professionals to use in educating older adults and adults with disabilities about brain health as we age, and related handouts for consumers. Attendees will receive a user’s guide and PowerPoint presentation for use with program delivery.

Brain Health: The Basics helps people learn how to reduce the risks related to brain health. This presentation addresses normal aging of the brain, threats to brain health, and healthy aging for the body and brain. In addition, a slide deck, Medicine, Age, and Your Brain, will be provided. It explains the impact some medicines can have on an older adult’s brain, and the importance of talking with a doctor.

This program has been approved for (1) hour of continuing education for Social Workers under the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board as provided by the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc. (RSX080025).
