ADULT DAY CENTER

The Adult Day Center at MemoryLane Care Services provides respite care for those affected by memory loss, Alzheimer’s, and other dementias. Activities in the Adult Day Center’s social atmosphere stimulate the mind, body, and spirit, enriching the lives of those affected by dementia while providing family members a break from the day-to-day responsibilities of caregiving.

I have to continue working to support the two of us. Knowing he is well cared while I’m at work—that he’s getting a healthy meal and socializing with other people—helps put my mind at ease.
Linda R., family member
It feels as though I worry twenty-four hours a day. What if she falls? Is she eating enough? Is she in pain and can’t tell me? The Day Center gives me a break from constant worrying.
Dora Y., family member
My attending the Day Center every day allows my wife to continue working her fulltime job. I like being around others who have the same issues as I do, and it takes my mind off my forgetfulness.
